Regulation of services

Domain Name Registration

The domain name registration service consists of the Provider submitting, on behalf of the Client, a registration request to the competent Registry for the selected extension.

The Client acknowledges that:

  • the assignment of the domain name is subject to its availability at the time of the request and to acceptance by the competent Registry;
  • the Provider does not guarantee the successful registration of the requested domain name, nor its availability until the registration procedure has been completed;
  • the registration and maintenance of the domain name are subject to the rules, policies and terms established by the competent Registry, which the Client declares to know and accept;
  • the domain name is assigned on a “first come, first served” basis, unless otherwise provided for by the applicable extension.

The Client shall be solely responsible for:

  • the choice of the requested domain name;
  • verifying that the domain name does not infringe any third-party rights, including intellectual or industrial property rights;
  • the accuracy, completeness and updating of the data provided for registration purposes.

The Provider does not carry out any prior verification regarding the legitimacy of the requested domain name and shall not be liable for any disputes, revocations, suspensions or reassignments ordered by the competent Registry or judicial authorities.

The Client acknowledges that failure to renew the domain name within the prescribed time limits may result in its expiration and subsequent loss, in accordance with the rules of the relevant extension, without any liability on the part of the Provider.

Note on Activation of the Domain Registration Service

The registration of the domain name shall be deemed completed exclusively upon receipt of the confirmation (activation) notice from the Provider, sent by email or made available in the dedicated section of the Control Panel.

For certain extensions, the registration procedure may require additional documentation or the completion of specific verification processes, in accordance with the rules of the competent Registry and as indicated on the relevant extension information page on the website. In such cases, the domain name registration shall be considered definitively completed only upon receipt of the required documentation and its approval by the competent Registry. Until such time, the domain name shall not be considered definitively assigned to the Client.

Premium domains registration

Premium domains are domains with a significant commercial value that the official registry of each extension reserves the right to sell at a particular price and generally much higher than the specific price of the extension.

These domains, therefore, do not have a list price but a specific price that is only disclosed at the time of actual registration and not at the time of the availability check.

It may therefore happen that one completes the purchase procedure for a domain, including payment, and that this domain subsequently turns out to be premium. In this case, the Provider will inform the Customer - via email - of the premium price and the customer can decide whether or not to purchase the domain at the new price.
The Provider will cancel the order and refund the payment previously made. If the customer is still interested in purchasing the premium domain, he/she must contact the administration directly.
