Receiving Modes
Free, shared or dedicated
The services for receiving SMS implement three different reception modes:
Free mode
You can use the free mode to receive reply messages by entering your own mobile number as sender in the service configuration interface (image below).
This mode does not include a web control panel, so replies will be sent directly to your mobile device.
Shared mode
The service includes a web control panel to manage received messages, which you can use to:
- - view and manage received messages,
- search by period or sender,
- receive a notification via email when receiving an SMS message,
- - export replies received in excel.
In order to receive a reply to your SMS in the shared mode, you will need to inform the recipient to enter, at the top of the reply message, the unique acronym chosen when configuring the service
With this function the sender’s number will be provided by us and it will not be personalisable
Dedicated mode
The service includes a web control panel to manage received messages, which you can use to:
- View and manage received messages,
- Search by period or sender,
- Receive a notification via email when you receive an SMS message,
- Export the replies received in excel.
Unlike the shared mode, you are guaranteed to receive a reply to sent SMS messages by the dedicated number and therefore receiving replies does not require any personalised initials at the top of the reply message.
