The nBox products, a set of solutions for studying, monitoring and analysing the network traffic, are born out of the collaboration with (*) ntop team and Hosting Solutions' experience in the server field. Unlike all other Hosting Solutions services that are provided from our data centers, nBox solutions are products that have their own hardware and software and are delivered to the customer ready and optimised to be placed in their network.

nBox is a set of embedded software and hardware solutions for capturing and analysing network traffic. All nBox control activities can be scheduled over time and customized for both capturing (and storing) and analysing network flows.

nBox essentially covers two groups of functions that are necessary for monitoring network traffic:

  • flow-based traffic analysis, with nBox NetFlow products
  • recording and reproduction of network traffic, with nBox Recorder products
