Service management (customization features, such as blacklist and whitelist) is integrated in our SeverMate control panel.
The filters include a double antivirus (ClamAV and Bitdefender) and are able to scan messages thoroughly in order to find other dangerous elements such as Phishing, Trojan, Malware, Ransomware like cryptolocker. In addition, anti-spam filters allow extensive customization (spam score, whitelist and blacklist) for each domain and each email account.
ATTENTION
- Antivirus/Antispam Packages: Each package must cover all the accounts of the email domain(s), so it cannot be used for partial protection (only some accounts of the domain). When purchasing, therefore, select the package that covers all the accounts of the email domain(s) , otherwise protection cannot be activated.
- Account configuration: to activate the Antivirus/Antispam service, it is essential that the catch-all account has not been configured in the email domain.
PLEASE NOTE The service can only be used on email accounts provided by Hosting Solutions in Shared mode (email accounts included in the services: e.g. hosting, domain + email, site generator, etc.).
Service features
- Antivirus: the service includes the BitDefender antivirus that detects and blocks viruses (including ransomware such as Cryptolocker), known infected links and malware in emails messages;
- Antispam: the service includes an antispam with Spam Catch Rate (certified by Virus Bulletin) higher than 99,9%, which can detect and block spam messages in emails by adapting to the preferences of the single user.
