How to configure your ITNet PEC on a Mail client

For accounts on the @pcert.it domain or another domain certified by ITNet s.r.l.

Below are the configuration settings required to check a certified account (on a @pcert domain or another domain certified by ITNet s.r.l.) from a generic mail client (Outlook, Thunderbird, etc).

Settings for the mail client

  • Incoming mail server address: (POP3, alternative to IMAP) mail.postacert.it.net
    - Port: 995
    - SSL: active
    • Incoming mail server address: (IMAP, alternative to POP3) mail.postacert.it.net
    - Port: 993
    - SSL: active
  • Outgoing mail server address: (SMTP) mail.postacert.it.net
    - Port: 465
    - SSL: active
    - Server authentication required
