Virtual server on Windows platform. Unless otherwise specified, the latest Italian version of Windows Server will be installed. It is possible to request a different version among the most recent ones when configuring the server prior to purchase.

The VPS Windows + XenServer service allows you to host unlimited websites, accessible with domains registered by us or with other registrars. The memory and CPU resources allocated exclusively to the virtual server guarantee superior performance and stability, while root level access allows access with full administrative rights,  to manage the available resources or to install third-party applications. Starting from Gold Plan, the service include the Standard Backup (25 GB), which can be activated on request and run automatically on a daily basis.

VMware VPS: Geographic Business Continuity

All virtual servers on VMware hypervisors are characterised by Geographic Business Continuity: the servers are located on a VMware cluster, distributed over Florence and Rome thanks to the SnapMirror Business Continuity function of our NetApp storage systems, certified by VMware. In fact, the storage systems are configured in synchronous replication between Florence and Rome and the cluster nodes access the geographically closest storage node: in the event of a fault, the servers restart in the secondary data center without loss of data and with the same IP address.

XenServer VPS: Geographic Security Replication

Available among the additional services is the geographic security replication of the VPS server on XenServer Hypervisor in one of our colocation sites in Rome or Siziano (Stack Emea). The replication is performed asynchronously on an hourly basis and keeps the history of the last 6 hours.

Fully Managed VPS and Control Panels

The features of our servers, technical support and SLA guarantee very high performance, stability and continuity of service.
For an even higher level of management (Fully Managed Server) and customization, we offer the following add-on options that can be purchased as additional services to the VPS server.

To order an additional service, it is necessary to log in to the Control Panel, then click on Ordina Servizi Add-On (Order add-on services) in the menu on the left.

Upgrades & Additional Services

The virtual server can be enhanced with specific additional services: it is possible to increase the hardware resources of the server such as RAM, CPU cores and space,  connectivity and the number of dedicated IPs.

• The purchase for 12 months includes a 3% DISCOUNT.
• The service can be renewed for periods of 1, 3, 6 or 12 months before it expires. It is possible to set automatic monthly renewal using the PrePay payment method, .
• The service fee includes the registration or transfer of a domain with one of the extensions listed in the Extensions price list, which can be identified by the green tick () in the 'Included in hosting' column. For domains with different extensions, registration and maintenance must be purchased separately.
• Features marked "Optional" can be purchased separately when ordering or after activation of the service.
• The service will be activated within 24 hours from the purchase if the payment is made by credit card or PayPal, on weekdays. To activate the service purchased by bank transfer or postal order, it is necessary to send us a copy of the payment receipt by fax, to the number 055 30312210, or by email to amministrazionehostingsolutions.it, indicating the name of the domain associated to the service purchased.
• After the subscription, you will receive an automatic order confirmation email containing all the necessary documentation to complete the activation of the service. Once the service has been activated, you will receive an activation confirmation email containing access credentials for service administration.
